Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is the place to be, if you’re in for the loud, the hip and the fun. In fact, it’s hard to forget that you’re in Hard Rock because of its outstanding Bose stereo systems; flat-screen plasma TVs featuring the most popular music video channels; chic and elegantly-designed furnishings; impressive musical entertainment; and, of course, the sight of partygoers who love everything from bikinis to martinis.
A tropical oasis with a floating bar, poolside blackjack and thatch-roofed cabanas cover the pool area of Hard Rock. The place is ultra cool, but it can be quite crowded at times – which is actually a plus for many adults, as it offers a plethora of eye candy for everyone.
Rehab, the crème de la crème of the Vegas pool-party scene, is not worth missing! It is a nightclub, beach party and gaming area rolled into one. You can simply relax and immerse yourself with the conversation, music, rays, and splendid drinks, or go socializing with people donning their sizzling hot bodies.
Hard Rock offers a myriad of other outstanding facilities which include a bar/lounge, a fitness center, air-conditioned public areas, banquet venues, gift shops, coffee shops, spa centers, salons, laundry service, spacious parking areas, limo services, tour assistance, wedding assistance, business services and, definitely not the least, a casino. Every service is commendable and can be personalized to your heart’s desire.
Incidentally, the casino inside proved to be the paramount feature of Hard Rock: the gaming tools and equipment are excellent and the gaming staffs – the pit boss, the dealers and everyone else in the casino – are awesome people to hang out with! Rock music goes nonstop while the bonuses were surprisingly generous.
The slots and craps tables are customized with some cool Rock n’ Roll designs as well. The caveat here, though, is that the points in the HRH comp system expires in three days after you leave, leaving you with no extra incentive to come back. But other than that, it is, like I said, a fantastic place to be.
The rooms, which number around 1,870, is expectedly very clean, modern and spacious. It’s got the usual works like air conditioning, CD players, an in-room safe, plasma televisions, Wi-fi access and, upon request, a refrigerator.
The interiors are mostly black, whites and grays. In the bathroom lies a comfortably large bath tub and plenty of storage space. You can also upgrade your room to one with a pool view – perfect for people who love a little “sightseeing”.
As for gastronomical pleasures, Hard Rock Hotel will not disappoint you. It offers a lot of variety and each one is phenomenal in its own right. There’s AGO (Italian), Nobu (Japanese), Johnny Small (American), Pink Taco (Mexican), Mr. Lucky’s 24/7 (Las Vegas style), Palapa Grill (Indonesian) and, as you may have guessed, Starbucks. Pink Taco gets my vote for the best among them but trying out the other restaurants will surely be all worth it. Room service is prompt, courteous and is available 24 hours.
If you stay for at least one entire week – that is, from Monday to Sunday, you will surely experience the two different sides of Hard Rock. No, it’s not the good and the bad; it is actually the calm and the vibrant. During the weekdays, this hotel and casino is evidently quieter and classy. However, get ready for the loud and exciting party vibe during the weekends. Saturday night concerts are commonplace and, hence, you need to choose your room carefully, depending on your appetite for loud music.
As regards the location, Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is a mere 5-minute ride from the Las Vegas strip. It is quite near for such an acclaimed paradise. You definitely got to check this place out!
